Why these brands?
I guess if I was passionate about any of these brands it would be Doc Marten. I like all of the stuff they come out with–they come out with very few things where I say “I don’t like this”. And I have been buying them for many years.
Are you aware of any “shared value” imparted by these brands?
I am not sure off of the top of my head.

Would you switch to a brand that was just as good but that offered more shared value?
I don’t really shop too often anymore unless it is something special but if one of these brands gave to someone else, I would be more inclined to go out and buy that brand.
Aside from purchasing decisions, is there any way you personally try to do good in the world?
Nothing right now but I used to do work for Heros on the Water–they take wounded vets out fishing.
