Brands on the Street:

  • Target
  • Levi’s
  • Asics

(Chris took a short break to order from the food truck at which he was waiting on line. We hope it was delicious, Chris).

Why these brands?

I am passionate about all three brands.

Asics

The shoes are comfortable and low profile

Levi’s

Most about fit and quality. A lot of other jeans I try just don’t fit right. I have kind of a flat ass so…

Target

They have more stylish options that are not as expensive. Everything they have is more towards the stylish end for a lower price point.

Are you aware of any “shared value” imparted by these brands?

I know that Target does something where they give 1% back to schools (well, they used to Chris, but it seems they pulled that program)

Did shared value drive these purchasing decisions in any way?

Yes. If I can…if it is between CVS and Target. Amazon does something similar with Smile.

Aside from purchasing decisions, is there any way you personally try to do good in the world?

Habitat for Humanity and Radiotopia
