Brands on the Street:
Nora told us that she is not a brand person. We did our best to find out what brands she had on; it was not easy.
- Motorola
- Shirt from a store in Boston?
- Shoes were free from a free store, with my friend (we at BotS have never heard of a “free store” but we will now keep our eyes peeled.
Why these brands?
No reason, really
Are you aware of any “shared value” imparted by these brands?
Do you mean like Tom’s shoes? No, I am not aware.
Did shared value drive these purchasing decisions in any way?
No
Would you switch to a brand that was just as good but that offered more shared value?
It is nice if the products that you are looking at are made well and comparable to other products and also has extra value. I would say if the brand was on the same level, shared value would shape my purchase habits
Aside from purchasing decisions, is there any way you personally try to do good in the world?
Well, I am looking into PAWS right now.
