Works for: Post Office
Lives in: Culver City
Last thing watched / read / listened to / seen: The last book would be, “Life Is” (editor’s note: we think that this is what she is referring to, but we are not sure). The last podcast…well, I haven’t really checked out any lately.
How was it? It was very informal
Brands on the Street:
- Converse
- Steve Madden (bag and jacket)
- Versace
- I don’t know who makes my jeans
Why these brands?
I really like Converse and Versace. I like the style. I like the old school classic nineties look of Versace.
Impact on Society
I do think that these brands have an impact on society. They display positivity by giving the image of comfort. (this was not exactly what we meant, and though we clarified, Rebecca stood by this–fine with us!)
Are you aware of any “shared value” imparted by these brands?
Maybe Converse does something where they give back–they may have a charity that they give to.
Would you switch to a brand that was just as good but that offered more shared value?
Yes, but they would have to be stylish. I am less concerned about price.
Does shared value drive any other of your purchasing decisions?
I really like Tom’s.
I know in grocery stores they let you donate afterward.
Aside from purchasing decisions, is there any way you personally try to do good in the world?
I support Susan G. Komen because of my mom.
